The iconic Easter candy Peeps teamed up with the Energizer bunny, naming the famous rabbit as the new “Peeps celebrity creative director.”
Mobile communications company T-Mobile played along with “Sidekicks,” a smartphone shoe. The wireless powerhouse teased images of the former best-selling phone T-Mobile Sidekick with a newly added element — your shoes.
Fast food mecca Burger King introduced a chocolate whopper — with a flame-grilled chocolate patty, raspberry syrup, white chocolate rings, vanilla frosting and chocolate bun.
Rita’s Italian Ice teased its new “pizza-infused Italian ice,” adding that it’s combined two of your favorite foods.
Hostess Snacks also played along. It joked on its Twitter account with images of “Chili Lime Burrito Twinkies,” adding that the image was an April Fools’ joke.
Like Hostess Snacks, Pop-Tarts brought the spice for April Fools’ Day, tweeting, “Kiss your mouth’s feelings goodbye,” with an image of a box of sriracha Pop-Tarts.
Pretzel-making favorite Auntie Anne’s joked that it was going to get into the essential oils market with “pretzel oils.” The “House of A” scents include Freshly Baked, Salty and Cinnamon Twist.”
Bud Light introduced “Buddy Light,” a non-alcoholic beer for your dog — which is also an April Fools’ joke.
While all of these products are funny, one thing is for sure — they won’t be around tomorrow!
